Shelter from the storm

If anyone ask me
I’ll tell a little lie
Say it hurts just a little
Won’t let them see me cry

The scars starts to fade
but never those inside I’m afraid
But I’ll smile through it all

won’t let them see me fall

And all I used to pray for
Was two arms to hold me
a woman that could love me
And a shelter from the storm
that I could call my home
Call my home..

I will never let you know
how it hurt to let you go
And I’ll keep the secrets we shared
the places we went, when we got scared

And if anyone ask me
I’ll never tell the truth
It’s only our story
Our life together, our youth

all I used to pray for
Was two arms to hold me
a woman that could love me
And a shelter from the storm
that I could call my home
Call my home..

A shelter from the storm
